A French man lost control of his vehicle causing it to crash into a local Bali man who did not survive the accident.
63-year-old local man with initials (KS) died after being hit by the car on Jalan Raya Petitenget, Seminyak on Sunday Nov 22nd 2020.
According to witness, I Wayan Sudarsana (47) and Bambang Supriyana, before the incident occured, a car that was driven by a French man with initials (TB) was moving very at around 5:30 am. Suddenly the driver lost his control over the car and drove it into Umasari Banjar Hall.
At the time, KS was cleaning up the Umasari Banjar Hall that morning when suddenly the car came into the Banjar area and hit the victim.
“The foreigner couldn’t control his car so it went inside the Banjar Hall and hit KS” said one of the witnesses. The victim was rushed to Mangusada Hospital by ambulance.
KS was announced dead at the hospital. The Head of Badung Traffic Police, Officer Iptu Achmad Fahmi Adiatma confirmed the incident. “We have handled this case, and we have detained the French man in the Badung Police Station for further investigation” Adiatma concluded.
