Foreign National Spotted Sleeping On Bali Side Road

An alleged intoxicated foreign national has been spotted sleeping on the side of a public road in Bali.

A video of a foreign national sleeping in a public area has recently become viral. The video was taken by some by-passers who unexpectedly saw the unidentified expat man. He was sleeping next to his motorbike near an intersection on Jalan Raya Kerobokan, North Kuta on Sunday morning (19/12).

The Head of the Badung Traffic Office, AKP Aan Saputra, confirmed that he had received a report concerning the man sleeping next to a motorbike with registration number DK 3294 EE in the Kerobokan area.

“We received a report regarding the incident, but by the time our officer arrived at the scene, he was already gone,” AKP Saputra said.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Badung Civil Service Office, I Gusti Suryanegara, confirmed that the man was allegedly drunk as the officers found vomit at the scene.

“We immediately came to the scene after receiving a report from the local village official that morning, Unfortunately, by the time we arrived, the person had already left the area so we couldn’t identify him,” Suryanegara said.

Suryanegara reminds all residents and tourists to comply with local rules and regulations, especially during the upcoming year-end holidays when many domestic tourists are expected to visit the island.
