A 47-year-old man named Kasiono from East Java has died after crashing his motorbike into a parked truck in Denpasar. The Head of Denpasar Public Relation Police Officer, Iptu Ketut Sukadi explained that the incident occurred on Thursday (25/2). Kasiono was riding a Honda PCX when he crashed into the back of a truck that was parked on Jalan Cargo, Denpasar.
The victim who had been living in a boarding house on Jalan Bisma Legian suffered a fatal head injury from the impact.
“According to information from a witness, Kasiono was headed south on his motorbike in high speed on Thursday morning. As he quickly changed lanes he was faced with a truck that was parked on the side road,” Iptu Sukadi said.
The front side of his motorbike was completely destroyed due to heavy impact. “The victim’s body was immediately sent to Wangaya Public Hospital in Denpasar by ambulance,” Iptu Sukadi said.
Kasiono crashed into a truck carrying mineral water that was owned by a 34-year-old man named Komang Tenang from Singaraja.
Meanwhile, the driver of the truck was at home when the accident occurred. “Tenang was surprised when we tried to collect information from him regarding the incident as he was at home that morning,” Iptu Sukadi concluded.
