Bali officials have announced that the Covid-19 patient bed occupancy rate (BOR) of hospitals in the Jembrana region has reached 0%.

The Secretary II of the Jembrana Covid-19 Handling Task Force, I Putu Agus Artana confirmed that the occupancy rate of hospitals in Jembrana from Covid-19 patients has significantly decreased. Despite receiving zero Covid-19 patients, Artana instructed all hospitals to remain on standby, and avoid any closures to their isolation rooms as a preventative measure.

“There is a total of 153 isolation beds between three appointed Jembrana hospitals. Bunda Hospital and BaliMed Negara Hospital have been empty for almost a month while the Negara Public Hospital has been empty since Sunday (24/10) as their only patient on hand recovered from Covid-19.” Artana said on Tuesday (26/10). According to data as of Monday (25/10), Artana recorded a total of 6,084 Covid-19 cases, 5,870 recoveries (96.48%), and 212 deaths (3.48%).

Apart from the hospitals, several appointed quarantine facilities in Jembrana also became empty as Covid-19 transmission keep on reducing. “From a total of 8 quarantine facilities across the region, we only have one more asymptomatic Covid-19 patient left while the other facilities are empty,” Artana added. Despite the reducing Covid-19 cases, Artana urged his officials to keep optimizing the testing, tracing, and treatment (3T) program as well as assuring the people to keep complying with prevention protocols, especially during the upcoming holiday season in December 2021 when more tourists are expected to arrive for vacation.

I'm sick of all those c19 articles across the Internet. Just shut down tv and Internet and puff! No c19 anymore. Open Bali completely, stop playing games.

Yes brilliant matt Thank you very much for your deeply considered and rational comment.Your clearly a highly advanced being.

Also matt you could shut down the hospitals and there will be no cancer or heart disease.

They need to make you surgeon general. Then all the dead people who have sadly passed away from covid will come back to life as well. That would be a great comfort to countless families accross the archipelago who are greaving for lost love ones Give then your name and address Then they can meet you in person Are you Balinese or Indonesian or just another white man passing through telling Indonesia how to manage their country.
