Bali’s Waterbom Voted As The Best Waterpark In The World

Bali’s family-favorite Waterbom Waterpark has just been named as the Best Waterpark in the World in the Tripadvisor Travelers’ Choice Awards Best of the Best 2025.

This major achievement is being celebrated as a win for both Waterbom and Bali as a world-leading destination.

Officially announced last month, the team at Waterbom Bali is still taking in the good news.

Not only did Waterbom get voted as the Best Waterpark in the World in TripAdvisor’s Traveler’s Choice Best of the Best Awards 2025, but it also jumped into the top ranking positions in a number of other major award categories, too!

Waterbom Bali has also been listed as third in the World’s Top 25 Amusement and Waterparks, making it the highest-ranked waterpark globally. The top two places in the overall amusement and waterpark category were taken by Ferrari World in Abu Dhabi, the United Arab Emirates, and Beto Carrero World in Penha, Brazil.

The Travelers’ Choice Awards are considered by tourism businesses to be some of the most prestigious around, since the rankings are based on year-round feedback, reviews, and votes from real travellers and visitors. The awards highlight the very best in travel and are awarded only to those who receive a high volume of above-and-beyond reviews and opinions from the TripAdvisor community over a 12-month period.

Incidentally, less than 1% of Tripadvisor’s 8 million listings receive the Best of the Best honour, making this recognition for Waterbom a true reflection of the beloved waterpark’s world-class guest experience and commitment to premium quality and innovation.

Though smaller in size than almost all other attractions featured in the top 25, this global win for the park is a landmark win, especially since Waterbom has proudly held the title of TripAdvisor’s number one waterpark in Asia for nine years consecutively.

Waterbom CEO, Sayan Gulino, announced that this award is a true reflection of the passion, dedication, and heart the team put into every experience and the care given to each guest.

He shared, “This award means so much to us because it comes directly from our guests and we’ve always worked hard to be more than just a waterpark – we aim to reimagine traditional expectations, delivering an experience with a strong focus on care, a boutique approach, with respect for culture and environmental responsibility.”

“To be recognised on the world stage like this is a credit to the passion, energy, and hard work of our team.”

Innovation and never-ending improvement are at the heart of the vision at Waterbom Bali. Last month, the park opened not one but six exhilarating new waterslides in the new kids and families area. The brand new Zuluu Hills offers six slides across two levels, with twists, turns, and mega splashes that have proven a major hit with visitors in just a few short weeks.

Waterbom is not only an exceptional tourist attraction but a forward-thinking and inspiring business too. The park has pledged to become net zero emissions by 2033 and is on a mission to highlight how tourism and entertainment businesses can be both profitable and environmentally sustainable.

Speaking during the park’s 30th Anniversary celebrations in April last year, Gulino told reporters, “We will be upgrading our ambitions and targets, as Waterbom aims to be the first Asian tourism business and the first waterpark in the world to be net zero by 2033.”

He added, “Our energy sources will be 100% renewable, and our business will also be removing more carbon from the atmosphere than we emit. Throughout this process, we will keep ourselves accountable and provide data and reports to the public to show transparency.”

Waterbom Bali is open 7 days a week, year-round. Tickets are available to purchase online via the Waterbom Bali website, with a range of passes available to suit every budget and group size. Entry passes can also be purchased on arrival at the park, which can be found on Jalan Kartika Plaza Tuban in the heart of Kuta.
