Bali officials have decided to allow visitors to do outdoor activities during their quarantine at select Bali hotels.
Since the reopening of Bali Airport to foreign visitors, the government has made adjustments to the quarantine policy.
The Head of the Bali Tourism Agency, Cokorda Pemayun, confirmed that visitors could now access the outdoor facilities of the select hotels during isolation.
“We will implement a bubble quarantine system and provide special areas for visitors who are undergoing mandatory quarantine at the select hotels in Bali. The plan is to create separate areas between them and the regular guests,” Pemayun said on Thursday (17/2).
Travelers can also join cooking classes, do yoga, get a massage, and access the beach within the hotel areas.
“Visitors will be able to go to the beach if their hotel has access to that area, so it would already feel like a holiday already for them,” Pemayun added.
The hotels will have a special entrance for visitors, and the staff will be kept in-house to avoid exposure. Officials from the Covid-19 Handling Task Force will supervise all the procedures during hotel operations.

You know what this sounds like? It sounds like you’re in jail but you get exercise time in The Yard each day.

Really? Just drop the stupid quarantine policy already. Simply put in the policy that to come to Bali you must be fully vaccinated (includes booster), negative rapid test within 72 hours of departure. The rest of the world is moving on. You’re not protecting anyone. In fact, you’re probably hurting your citizens more through these policies.

@Sanjeev, citizens would be much more hurt by deaths and long Covid symptoms&complications then by smaller number of tourists.

I understand the policy based on protection off everyone at Bali. But from my perspective; i have had 2 vaccination and a booster. I have a digital QR- code as proof for authorities. If that will be enough for authorities; no pcr test, no quarantaine, then i will stay at Bali for 3 happy weeks AND i like to pay for 4 vaccinations, in the local vaccination program.
Giving people and economy chances. Regards,
