Bali Is Still Investing In Influencers To Promote Tourism On The Island

The island may be going through a spike in COVID-19 but the Bali Provincial Government is still investing in Influencers to promote tourism.

The Badung Tourism Board has said they will keep promoting tourism because COVID-19 won’t last forever and they want Bali to be travelers first destination in mind when the pandemic is over.

Badung is covers most of Bali’s touristy area from Nusa Dua to Canggu and the tourism board is currently collaborating with  Romanian influencer who’s known as “Mba Tina Bule” who has over 290K subscribers on YouTube.

Her and her team were spotted filming videos in several attractions in Badung that will be uploaded to her YouTube channel for promotion.

Head of Badung Tourism Board, Cokorda Raka said that he’s got the full support from the Bali Government.

Raka explained that Bali is preparing for when the pandemic is over and that he wants travelers to think of Bali first when they can travel again. “We’ve also received IDR 664.050.000 ($45,000 USD) stimulus from the central government. We are using the money to train and develop our tourism workers in Badung. Workers include Homestay management, tourist attraction management and tourist activity management,” Raka explained.
