Tourists arriving in Bali are advised to book their airport pick-up ahead of arrival, though taxis and transfer services are always available to organize on arrival.

Utilizing the eVisa on Arrival service prior to traveling to Bali can also help cut down travel time.

The eVisa on Arrival can applied for up to 48 hours before departure to Indonesia, though with public holidays impacting the Immigration Office working hours, be sure to leave as much time as possible in applying for an eVisa on Arrival for the New Year holiday.

The eVisa on Arrival enables tourists to use the autogates at Bali Airport on arrival and departure; this saves potentially hours of time queuing to pay for the normal visa on arrival and for in-person immigration checks.

In terms of returning to the airport for departing flights, tourists are advised to leave as much time as possible to travel from their resort to the airport.

Widespread flooding, especially in areas like Kuta, Legian, and Seminyak, has been causing havoc on the roads.
