As Bali grapples with the question of whether the island needs more hotels and resorts, one of the islands most loved hotels has just unveiled stunning new upgrades and renovations.

The Nandini Jungle by Hanging Gardens in Payangan, just outside of Ubud, has been given a fresh feel and is even more beautiful than before!

In a press event held on Friday, 28th June, Nandini Jungle by Hanging Gardens revealed incredible renovations to the resort that have leveled up the whole experience for guests from start to finish.

Previously, the resort’s suites were the lowest-grade accommodation choice, while villas were the top option.

Now, with the upgrades completed, the suites have all become the top-tier, most luxurious accommodation option at the hotel.

It is not only upgrades to the lodging themselves, but more facilities for guests too. Including a jacuzzi in every suite, each boasting an uninterrupted panoramic view of the topical jungle that surrounds the resort.

Senior Manager of Nandini Jungle, Agus Salim, told the media, “This upgrade change was carried out based on market demand. Today, many guests want a more luxurious and exclusive experience.”

He was excited to confirm that every suite now comes with a private jacuzzi for guest to enjoy the panoramic view to the max. Salim said, “This is something unique and not offered by other hotels in Bali. We want to provide an unforgettable experience for our guests.”

Salim was clear that the Nandini Jungle Resort is a hotel that is open, available, and welcoming to all people. Regardless of demographic, he wants to see the resort enjoyed by a wide range of travelers. These latest upgrades are one way of cementing the hotel’s commitment to inclusiveness.

Salim said, “We want Nandini Jungle to be a place that everyone can enjoy. Almost 50% of our guests come from India. Followed by Europe, America, Australia, and domestic [tourists]. Nandini Jungle is a diamond in Payangan with amazing views.”

He spoke of how the Ubud area continues to be one of Bali’s most in-demand areas for tourists looking to enjoy its culture and nature.

While Ubud itself is a very small town, many of the resorts located in the forested areas around the arts and cultural capital of Bali are branded as being in Ubud.

Salim shared that for guests checking in to Nandini Jungle Resort, the panoramic jungle views really set the experience apart.

He said, “There is still not much competition in Payangan, and we are confident in our concept and view.”

According to booking data, the hotel operated at 70% capacity in June and 75% in July, making the hotel one of the most in-demand not only in Ubud but all of Bali. Current booking occupancy rates in Bali are around the 60-65% mark.

Salim said, “We are confident that Nandini Jungle will continue to grow in the future. We want our guests to get an experience that is more than just staying at a hotel.”

A stay at Nandini Jungle Resort can be as jam-packed with activities or as relaxed as guests so wish. Activities for guests cater to every taste and travel style.

Activities and excursions include a Bali afternoon tea, morning cycling tour, morning walking tour through the local village, canang sari making, and sunset yoga.

Salim was keen to communicate that Nandini Jungle is suitable for couples who want to go on a honeymoon and families with children. “We provide various facilities and activities that can be enjoyed by everyone.”

The Nandini Jungle Spa is one of the most acclaimed hotel spas on the island. Salim explained, “Many guests say that the spa at Nandini Jungle is the most beautiful experience they have ever had. Nandini Jungle has 16 upgraded suites with jacuzzis and in-room spas. Guests can enjoy the spa without having to leave the room.”
