The Russian Ambassador to Indonesia has announced that Russian President Vladimir Putin plans to attend the G-20 Conference in Bali this year.
The Russian Ambassador to Indonesia, Lyudmila Vorobieva, confirmed that Putin plans to attend the G-20, one of the biggest international economic conferences. It is scheduled to be held in Nusa Dua, Bali on October 2022.
“President Putin wants to attend this economic event, but his attendance will still depend on the Covid situation,” Vorobieva said during a press conference on Wednesday (23/3).
This statement was released after America and its allies attempted to ban Russia from joining the G-20 Conference due to its current military invasion against Ukraine.
As a response, Vorobieva claimed that the world might face a setback if they decide to ban Russia from joining the conference as the event has no relation to political issues.
She also explained that President Putin has consistently attended G-20 events held both in-person and virtually.
“We fully support Indonesia as the president of the G-20 Conference this year with its slogan ‘Recover Together, Recover Stronger.’ And we’re hoping that Indonesia will stand firm against any pressure from the west,” Vorobieva concluded.

Wild anti Russia propaganda in western media is burning at a fever pitch, salacious nonsense , hyperbole and political rhetoric, as always. Putin is the new Trump. Indonesian media should tell both sides of the story, and I hope Mr Putin gets equal time to present his case so that people can make informed decisions and not merely regurgitate western alliance blathering that excuses itself as “reporting”.

@Wayan Bo, "Ukraine was belonging to Russian empire, therefore todays Ukraine it’s more or less artificial new composed country". Do you want Indonesia to be conquered by Britain again because it is artificial? There is no more "artificial" country than Russia, because it consists of dozens of conquered lands, which are ethnically, racially different, and speak different languages.
