The Head of the Jembrana Criminal Investigation Bureau, AKP M. Reza Pranata confirmed that the man was found dead by workers who were unloading a delivery truck that just arrived at the Negara traditional market which is located near the police station. “The man was found dead by two workers who were unloading packages to a shop at the Negara market that evening.” AKP Pranata said on Tuesday (6/7).

According to information from a witness, the incident occurred when the man took a rest inside his truck after arriving at the Negara market to transport animal feed to one of the shops. Once the two workers finished unloading the delivery, they attempted to wake him up, but they received no response from the driver. “The workers tried to wake him up to move the truck, but they got no response from the driver.” AKP Pranata added.

Becoming suspicious, the workers reported the incident to the police station that is located near the market. When the officers arrived at the location, the man was confirmed dead by the police investigator. Shortly after, the body was transported to the Negara Public Hospital. Officers contacted his family before transporting the body to Central Java. “According to our investigation, we didn’t find any signs from physical assault.
