An 18-year-old man is missing after his boat capsized when it collided with another vessel.
Two fishermen capsized their boat after getting in collision with a fishing boat on Tuesday morning Sept 15th 2020. The accident happened in Perancak Coastal Waters, Jembrana District.
“A 25-year-old man, named I Made Lugra Mahardika survived the crash, but the 18-year-old I Kadek Sukarada is still missing,” Head of Search and Rescue Team (Basarnas), Gede Darmada said.
Search and rescue received the report from one of the witnesses who saw the boat capsize at around 6:00 am
The Search and Rescue Team has deployed 11 men to look for Sukarada and also is receiving help from the police department and nearby villagers who have joined the search effort.
“We’re doing our best trying to find the Sukarada’s body but until now, he hasn’t been found yet.”, Mahardika added.
Sukarada’s family is in shock over the news and said they can’t believe what has happened to one of their family members.
