Woman Arrested After Hiding Narcotics Inside Her Toilet

A local woman named Ni Luh Putu Siwi has been arrested by police from inside her house located in Sading Village, Mengwi Badung.

The Head of the Badung Police Department, AKBP Roby Septiadi confirmed that the suspect was arrested when she attempted to hide a package of drugs inside her toilet on Wednesday (5/5). The officers began their investigation after arresting a man named I Putu Agus Adiarta on Wednesday morning (5/5) around 9:30am. During the interrogation, Adiarta admitted that he received narcotics from a woman named Putu Siwi.

“When we arrested Adiarta from the street on Jalan Lembu Sura, North Denpasar on Wednesday morning, he admitted that he bought drugs from a woman named Putu Siwi, shortly after we began our investigation and arrested her at her house.” AKBP Roby said on Wednesday (12/5) at the Badung Police Deparment Office. During the arrest, the officers seized a package that was allegedly crystal meth.

“When we interrogated Putu Siwi, she admitted that she received the package of drugs from her brother, Mang Ana who is now in prison.” AKBP Roby added. The suspect is now being detained at the Badung Police Department along with the evidence for further investigations. In addition, The Badung Police Department has recently arrested 10 other suspects that were either drug addicts or drug traffickers that had been operating in the Badung area.
