Tourists Must Plan Ahead For Bali’s Nyepi Festival

Bali’s Nyepi festival is just around the corner. The Day of Silence is the most important day of the Balinese calendar.

On the 11th of March 2024, the island will fall silent to honor Nyepi Day. Both locals and tourists will be required to stay indoors, not use electricity, and respect the holy day of reflection and renewal.
