Bali is welcoming a new attraction to the block.

The freshly renovated New Kuta Green Park is bringing affordable family fun in the sun in South Kuta. 

Once upon a time, the New Kuta Green Park was known as Dreamland Water Park before it became too run down.

The newly renovated and improved New Kuta Green Park has been up and running for a few months and is now open daily from 10 am until 6 pm and is complete with water slides, pools, plenty of shady areas, and a new canteen kitchen.

A day out at the New Kuta Green Park is super affordable, meaning those hard-earned tourist dollars go even further. The entry ticket for adults is IDR 35,000 (USD 2.25 ), and for children, it is IDR 30,000 (USD 1.90). Prices are discounted by IDR 5,000 on weekdays. 

There are a few experiences and pieces of equipment hired that are charged extras. The gazebo-style shade cabanas are rented out at IDR 50,000 for the day, but there are plenty of other seating and hangout spots for those who don’t want to pay the extra. The gazeboes can be booked on arrival when paying for entry tickets. 

There are lockers to keep all those valuables safe and dry, which can be rented for IDR 10,000 per locker.

There are also buoy rentals for visitors who need a little extra support in the water. New Kuta Green Park has floats and life vests for children and adults starting from IDR 15,000.

Other little extras include the floating tubes; the single tubes can be secured for a returnable deposit of IDR 15,000, and the double tubes can be hired with a deposit of IDR 30,000. Even when taking into consideration food and a taxi to and from hotels nearby to park a day out at New Kuta Green Park with all the extras, it would cost a family of four under USD 20!

There are plenty of pools, slides, and rides to enjoy. The Rajawali and Hornbill Slides are easily the most popular and stand at 10m high.

The Merak Slide starts a little lower, at 8m, and winds and turns before landing in the vast pool below. Tourists must have a go on The Peacock, named because the shape of the slide resembles a peacock’s tail.
