Complete Retreat

For a complete romantic retreat in Nusa Lembongan, it is best to find a luxury resort or private villa that caters to your every need and desire.

Thankfully, there is plenty of choice on Nusa Lembongan.

One of the most highly recommended romantic retreats in Nusa Lembongan is The Tamarind Resort.

The five-star hotel offers modern yet homely rooms which offer breathtaking views of Nusa Lembongan’s greenery and, on a clear day, even views of Mount Agung over on Bali.

Real Romance

Dream Beach is there perfect place for a sunset stroll on Nusa Lembongan; a little quieter than the famous Mushroom Beach, Dream Beach can be found just on the other side of Devil’s Tear, which is also a must-visit while on the island.

The intimate beach is peaceful and offers gorgeous ocean views, and it is great for a little paddle. The waves can get pretty big at times, so be sure to assess conditions before entering the water.

Dream Beach is overlooked by D’Byas Club and Villas, the ideal spot for a post-beach refresher, whether that be a young coconut or a cheeky cocktail for two.

Fun In The Sun

Once recharged and well rested, there is heaps of fun to be had in Nusa Lembongan, and while the island is perfect for a complete retreat, there are also plenty of opportunities to meet new people.

Nusa Lembongan is home to beach clubs like Ohana’s, where tourists can enjoy five-star hospitality, incredible ocean views, and fun-loving island vibes every day of the week.

Sandy Bay Beach Club is a great spot to sample some of Lembongan’s free seafood, accompanied by a chilled glass of wine or signature cocktail and great company.

A Little Bit Of Adventure

For a little bit of adventure during a getaway on Nusa Lembongan, then a snorkeling tour of the waters around Nusa Lembongan, Nusa Penida, and Nusa Cenningan is certainly in order.

The waters around the Nusa Islands are teeming with marine life. Tourists regularly spot turtles, get to swim alongside manta rays, and observe the endangered coral reefs in the area.

Getting There

Getting to Nusa Lembongan is surprisingly simple. Fast boat services run from the main island of Bali to Nusa Lembongan and Neighboring Nusa Ceningan and Nusa Penida multiple times a day.

Fast boat crossings take around 50 minutes each way, and most tourists choose to travel from Sanur Harbor since it is closest to the airport and Bali’s main beach resort.

Fast boat and ferry services also leave multiple times a day to Nusa Lembongan from Padang Bai Harbor further east.

I wonder if there is a small island for sale that could be turned into a FANTASY ISLAND? Make it totally self sufficient with native fishermen, desalination plant, wind and solar power, some agriculture and horticulture and of course totally native housing.
