Treat the patient. Don't understand why my colleagues ignored that. Like any respiratory illness, steroids, inhalators to get them breathing if needed then you always use a multiple drug approach to treat. In this case a cocktail of Vitamin D Zinc, ZPac, Hydroxy and Ivermectin if available.

This virus is very similar to Sars-2 and the governments stockpiled Hydroxychloroquine and Ivermectin to treat those and was shown very effective.

The reason people were dying so much at first was they were putting them on ventilators to treat the cytokine storm which was the wrong thing to do. Like putting gas on a fire to put it out. All they had to do is put the patient prone and give them a shot of dexamethasone.

Unfortunately people are going to die every year from Influenza and viruses like Covid-19 but shutting down the world, isolating and wearing masks aren't the answer.

@Ralph Kramdon, You wrote: "This virus is very similar to Sars-2 and the governments stockpiled Hydroxychloroquine and Ivermectin to treat those and was shown very effective." Which governments??

“The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has issued guidance warning consumers against using the antiparasitic drug ivermectin to treat or prevent COVID-19.” On the contrary Ivermectin is intended for animals as treatment. It has been clarified out there.

Sorry, does it mean I need covid-19 vaccination plus PCR-/antigentest or alternatively?

what good is the vaccination if I still need a PCR or antigen test?

Randy

@Ganivet, proof of one shot of vaccine at least and a PCR test 48 hours prior to travel by air domestically. No vaccine no travel. This may be just a temporary situation.

Not a smart move, why haven't they started giving out Ivermectin and quit relying on these badly developed vaccines?

@Ralph Kramdon, There is a growing evidence that getting vaccinated also protects you from being a carrier of the coronavirus that could transmit to others.

"The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has issued guidance warning consumers against using the antiparasitic drug ivermectin to treat or prevent COVID-19."

@Mike A, Agree

@Mike A, not vaccinated yet? Huh...and why not? Did you know that the more unvaccinated people there are the more opportunities for the virus to mutate...Look it up.

Ivermectin is given by a licensed doctor and for severly ill covid patients.
