A 29-year-old man named Akbar Pramadika Juniar from Jember, East Java has been arrested for stealing motorbikes in Denpasar.
The Head of Denpasar Public Relations Officer, Iptu I Ketut Sukadi confirmed that the suspect that was known as a motorbike theft specialist was arrested during his attempt to sell a stolen motorbike. “Authorities from the North Denpasar Police Department have managed to arrest the suspect from his place on Tuesday (9/11) when he attempted to sell a stolen motorbike.” Iptu Sukadi said on Thursday (11/11).
Prior to the arrest, the suspect had managed to steal a motorbike that belonged to a man named Welly from Medan, North Sumatra. He stole the bike from the victim’s house in Denpasar on Sunday (24/10). “The suspect stole the motorbike from the victim’s house that is located on Jalan Tunjung Tutur III,” Iptu Sukadi added.
After knowing that his motorbike was gone, Welly filed a report to the police on Monday (25/10). After several days of investigation, the evidence finally led the police to the suspect who lives at a boarding house located in Baha Village, Mengwi Badung. “The suspect has been detained at the police department along with multiple pieces of evidence. An investigation regarding his other criminal activities is still underway.” Iptu Sukadi concluded.

Wondering that he aren’t stealing police bikes and government cars. However it’s not to be expected that tourists from Europe and USA will in sooner future starting to arrive to Bali in there vehicles.
