Bali is a vacation destination that has something for everyone, especially Gen Z travelers.
Travel data shows that Gen Zers are keen travelers who have just as much interest in relaxation as they do in experiencing culture and sightseeing.
The Nusa Dua wants to see more Gen Z travelers book vacations in the area. Nusa Dua is a destination synonymous with resort-style vacations aimed at the luxury travel market, couples getaways, and family-friendly escapes.
Research shared by the travel site Travel Perk shows that “42% of Gen Zers travel to spend time with family or friends. 49% of Gen Zers plan getaways to relax. Sightseeing is the top reason to travel for 70% of Gen Zers while experiencing a new local culture is important for 68%.”

With all this in mind, Bali’s Nusa Dua ticks all the right boxes for Gen Z travelers, seeing a mix of relaxation, culture, and hanging out with friends and family in Bali.
It’s something of a misconception that younger travelers only go on backpacking trips or are only interested in partying in destinations like Uluwatu and Canggu. Nusa Dua offers Gen Z tourists the best of both worlds.
This low season, there are some pretty epic deals to be snapped up in Nusa Dua. Speaking to reporters earlier this month, the Operations Director of The Nusa Dua, Troy Warokka, said that more promotions on special interest tourism will be launched in the coming weeks.
Big live music events will be coming to The Nusa Dua in the next couple of months, including the incredible Joyland Festival and Thank God Its Festival.

Headline acts for the Joyland Festival, which will be held on Nusa Dua’s Peninsula Island from the 1st to the 3rd of March, have already been announced.
The UK’s James Blake will close the show on the 3rd of March, but not before the likes of Kings of Convenience from Norway, Shintaro Sakamoto from Japan, Pearl and the Oysters from the US and dozens more have graced the stage.
Tickets are still available for what is one of Bali’s most popular and fastest-growing international music festivals.
Warokka noted that The Nusa Dua resort has a total of 5,485 rooms spread across 22 five-star hotels and luxury villas and has meeting room facilities that can accommodate around 21,000 delegates.
Nusa Dua is best known for luxury resorts and all-inclusive retreats, but Warokka reiterated that Nusa Dua is a diverse travel destination offering classic beach tourism, as well as water sports activities, sports tourism, arts and culture attractions, shopping tourism, culinary tourism, and even natural attractions such as the water blow.
For Gen Z travelers seeking the best of both worlds in terms of luxury resorts and activities, the Nusa Dua is a great spot.
The resort can act as a springboard to explore all other destinations along the Bukit Peninsula, including Uluwatu.
Nusa Dua is situated just minutes from Sanur Habor, the gateway to the Nusa Islands and the Gili Islands, which remain favorite destinations with Gen Z travelers.
First-time holidaymakers to Bali would be able to tick off everything on their bucket list by staying in Nusa Dua and taking day trips to the likes of Ubud and Canggu before starting a few days of island hopping from Nusa Penida to Nusa Lembongan and beyond.
While Gen Z travelers and young travelers across the board are thought to be able to budget for hostels and guesthouses, there are some very affordable 5-star deals on offer this low season at resorts that have so much to offer.
The Courtyard Nusa Dua, for example, is home to Bali’s longest swimming pool. The Courtyard pool even features a swim-up bar, the perfect place to find like-minded travelers to hang out with.

Members of the Gen Z years were born between 1997 and 2012. So as of 2023, the Gen Z age range is anywhere from 11 to 26. Generation Z, sometimes known as “zoomers,” is the demographic cohort that comes after millennials. However many Gen Z may well lack cultural sensitivity. These despicable Zoomers are the generation that I would avoid at all cost. No patience for them at all.

I have a photo of Nusa Dua from 1978. A thin road to the beach, a warung shack on each side and thats it!
