First Apple Premium Partner Store Opens In Bali

Apple has celebrated the opening of the new Digimap Apple Premium Partner (APP) Outlet in the Mall Bali Galleria.

As an Apple Premium Partner, Digimap can support Apple users by investing in new products and gaining the customer support and device support they may need.

Speaking at the opening of the new store, Farah Fausa Winarsih, Head of Marketing for Apple PT MAP Zona Perkasa, shared her delight at the new venture. 

She explained, “This is the fourth Apple Premium Partner concept in Indonesia, and the first is in Bali. Digimap APP Mall Bali Galeria is not just a shop but also a complete experience center for Apple customers. From purchasing to product service, everything can be done in one place.”

While some devices may still need to be sent to Jakarta for more in-depth servicing, the services on offer with Digimap make it far easier for Bali-based Apple users to coordinate their tech servicing needs.

For years, Apple users in strife in Bali would have to venture into central Denpasar to Apple-certified E-World to get their Apple devices seen, before they would be sent to Jakarta for further investigation, or risk investing in support from non-certified Apple technicians.

Now, there is support available in Kuta at the Mall Bali Galleria and the Beachwalk and now in Sanur, too. 

Winarsih explained, “The look and feel of this outlet is completely different. At Beachwalk, we are a premium reseller, while at ICON Bali Sanur, we are an authorized reseller. But here, we offer a more complete experience.”

While there is no official Apple Store in Bali, Digimap, as a strategic partner of Apple, can help Apple customers purchase new iPhones, iPads, Macs, and more and get diagnostics and repairs on their existing devices. 

Winarsih added, “This is the only outlet in Bali that offers service with original Apple spare parts at the same location. Customers no longer need to worry about the authenticity of the products and services.”

At the Digimap app at Mall Bali Galleria, customers can also take advantage of flexible payment methods through partnerships with twenty local banks.

She added, “Now, buying Apple products no longer has to be done with cash. We offer various installment options, even through Shopee Pay Later and Home Credit.” 

Customers can also collect MAP points, which can be spent at partner brands like Starbucks and Zara. Winarish told reporters, “This is one of the advantages of shopping here, where we synergize with other brands in the MAP group.”

She confirmed that Apple will be investing more in Bali in the coming years; she said, “Bali is a city with great potential, both in terms of sales of Apple products by local residents and expatriates. Everyone here likes Apple, especially those who are familiar with the Apple ecosystem.”

Earlier this year, Apple confirmed that it would be opening an Apple Developer Academy in Bali. Apple really does mean business in Indonesia, with the CEO of the company, Tim Cook, having visited both Bali and Jakarta earlier this year to talk with leaders about the future of tech and tech businesses in the country.

The new Apple Developer Academy in Bali joins the training centers already established in Jakarta, Surabaya, and Batam.

In a press interview, Tim Cook said, “We’ve seen many times over that a line of code can change the world — and in Indonesia, we’re investing in the creativity and skills of people determined to prove it.”

Bali Galeria Mall is one of the most famous shopping outlets in Bali. It is located on Jalan Bypass Ngurah Rai in the heart of Kuta, and the mall is open seven days a week.

In addition to the Digimap Apple Premium Partner Store, tourists can explore top brands like Miniso, Bath & Body Works, H&M, and more.
