The World’s 50 Best is one of the most prestigious hotel and restaurant awards there is.

As the 2023 winners have been revealed, no one is surprised to see that a Bali-based hotel and beach club features in a prominent position on the list!

The World’s 50 Best Hotel award winners have been announced this week. Bali’s very won Desa Potato Head in Seminyak has been awarded 40th place.

Described by the awards as an “artisan marvel majoring in sustainability, creativity, high design and good times,” Desa Potato Head has rightly earned its place in the upper echelons of the hospitality world. 

So what is it about Desa Potato Head that warrants a place in the world’s top 50?

According to the awards jury, Desa Potato Head is “more than just a boutique hotel… it’s a holistic scene that draws globetrotting creatives, hedonists, and sun-kissed locals alike.”
