In fact, this is why the newly deployed Tourism Police in Bali will be working with highly trained Kintamani puppies. The young and endangered dogs have undergone training to be ‘tourist friends’ as part of Bali’s very own paw patrol.
Tourism Police officers and their pups will be conducting patrols across tourism hotspots to make sure tourists feel safe and comfortable on vacation.
They will also be conducting spot checks to make sure everyone has paid their tourism tax, so don’t be surprised if you see them wandering around and come over for a chat.
