No matter what the haters will say, Bali is still an incredible destination for digital nomads. The island is increasingly well set up for remote workers. The island’s connectivity is improving, there is no shortage of affordable accommodation options, and too many laptop-friendly cafes to count. However, what the haters say can ring true in some ways. There are areas of Bali that are affected by overtourism, resulting in traffic congestion, waste management issues, and rising prices. Lest we forget though, that Bali Province is huge. Bali is so much more than the popular tourist hotspots of Canggu, Uluwatu, and Ubud; it is as wonderful as it is.
For digital nomads seeking a slower pace of life, blue skies, no traffic, beach vibes, and a balance of international community and local cultural immersion, Nusa Lembongan is a must.
