A cafe called Bali Boozy has been closed down by authorities from the Badung police department for neglecting Covid protocols while operating.
The Head of the Badung Police Department, AKBP Leo Dedy Defretes, personally led the operation. He confirmed that the cafe in Jalan Raya Batu Belig, North Kuta was shut down for neglecting several prevention protocols during the current partial lockdown level 3.
“They violated the Covid protocols so we had to give sanctions in accordance with the government’s regulation,” AKBP Defretes said on Sunday (13/2).
A group of officers conducted an operation on Saturday evening (12/2) and discovered that Bali Boozy has was neglecting physical distancing during their operations. The cafe also didn’t utilize the PeduliLindungi tracing app at the entrance to screen their clients.
“We immediately told everyone to pay and leave that place. We then sealed the cafe with police tape while we educated the owner about the importance of complying with the protocols,” AKBP Defretes concluded.
