Officials from the Bali Police Department have conducted an operation to inspect several nightclubs in the Kuta and Seminyak areas.
The Head of the Bali Public Relations Officer, Kombes Pol Syamsi confirmed that the police had conducted an inspection at several nightclubs such as Boshe, Platinum, Gian Legian, and La Favela on Saturday evening (6/11). “A total of 60 police officers have inspected nightclubs that were expected to receive large numbers of clients over the weekend.” Kombes Pol Syamsi said on Sunday (7/11).
Syamsi explained that this operation was initiated to anticipate narcotic distribution through nightclubs in Bali. Officers have searched both visitors and staff of the clubs to assure that those places were free from drugs. “Everyone was searched, but we didn’t find any illegal drugs during our inspection,” Syamsi added.
During the operation that was directed by the Deputy Chief of the Bali Narcotics Investigation Bureau, AKBP Putu Yuli Setiawan also reminded the staff and visitors to keep complying with prevention protocols. “Our personnel reminded people to keep following the protocols such as carrying out physical distancing, wearing face-masks, and keeping their hands sanitized to prevent Covid-19 transmissions.” Kombes Pol Syamsi concluded.

Your report on Police raiding nightclubs has got to be a joke. One set of gangsters raiding another set of gangsters all looking for their cut. Tourist beware these corrupt organizations have not earned for long time, the people of Bali are poor at the moment, the only way to get their rewards is from the tourist.
