Officials from the Badung regional government have distributed stimulus packages to small businesses in the Badung area.
The Regent of Badung’s Regional Government, I Nyoman Giri Prasta along with Badung Senator Putu Parwata, have handed out financial assistance to small business owners in several areas in Badung on Saturday (6/11) and Sunday (7/11). Prasta explained that each business owner received USD 140 (IDR 2 million) to help them strive during this crisis in Bali.
Prasta said that this program covered all of Badung’s regions such as Kuta, South Kuta, North Kuta, Petang, Mengwi, and Abiansemal. Prasta also ensures that everyone who received this first phase of the stimulus program hasn’t received any previous financial assistance from either the regional or central government. “All participants were required to pass a screening process,” Prasta said.
He explained that residents are required to register themselves through the nearby village or sub-district officials in order to join this stimulus program. Prasta assured that the Badung regional government will be consistent in helping their residents in overcoming the global Covid-19 pandemic through the economy, social, and health sectors. “Badung region must go and grow together,” Prasta added.
Meanwhile, the Head of Badung Finance and Trade Agency Made Widiana explained that a total of 8,832 small business owners in Badung areas have received financial support during this first phase of the stimulus program.

Aussies still can't come, and will not come with present rules and regulations, yes I'm double vaxxed, also where did the millions of U.S. Dollars in Aid to Bali go? Got rid of the barking dogs yet, no rush for me.

@Ray Barden, Not sure if you know but last year Australia gave the Indonesian government $1.3 billion to help with the pandemic I can assure you that not $1 went to the Balinese people and to this day they have had virtually no assistance from the Bali government absolutely disgraceful bunch of amateurs.

Tourists will not come back to Bali until those harsh restrictions are removed Insurance with covid cover is near impossible to purchsase in Ausralia and if you find it it costs as much as your holiday. Also 3 days locked in a hotelis not going to be attractive to anyone. Chance you policies or continue to get no tourists. Double vax holiday makers and a covid test on arrival should be sufficient

The best thing that can help the Balinese people is: No Quarantine, or a maximum of 1 day. Then the tourists will come again!!!
