Asia’s Largest Silent Disco Is Coming To This Bali Tourist Hotspot

Party lovers, ravers, and dancers unite!

The biggest silent disco in Asia is coming to Bali, and you’re not going to want to miss out on it.

Launched in Singapore back in 2016, Silent Disco Asia is the most popular silent disco event on the continent and is making its debut in Bali’s Seminyak this month.

Fear not if you’re not arriving in Bali for a few weeks yet; there are plenty of dates to choose from; no one needs to miss out on the hottest party in Asia!

The next Silent Disco Asia event to be happening in Bali this season will be held at Woobar at W Hotel in Seminyak on Friday, 16th August.

The event will be held once again at Woobar on the 13th September and the 19th October. Doors will open at 8pm and the music will play until 1am!

The founder of Silent Disco Asia, Franc Gooding, told reporters, “We are hyped to be back in Bali this month after an amazing launch event in July. The island is brimming with energy in August, and we cannot wait to bring Silent Disco Asia back to our home of Woobar at W Hotel for another fun-packed night of music.”

As Lead DJ for the event, Gooding also ensures that the playlists are perfectly primed for a good time on whatever channel you pick and whenever you dive into the mix. Perhaps that is what makes silent discos so much fun: there are always three parties happening all at once.

For party-lovers who get down to a bit of EDM, make sure you’re on the red channel; for classic rock bangers, be sure to switch over to green, and for the current top 40 pop hits, then the blue channel is for you.

Silent Disco Asia best describes the experience.

They say the events are “a revolutionary approach to entertainment at events and parties. Three DJs playing three different styles of music allow guests to flick between the different channels on their headsets and dance to whatever music they prefer.”

Silent Disco Asia explains, “Our customized headsets, which are designed with integrated LED lights, which, depending on what channel you are listening to, light up and glow in blue, green or red, turning the dance floor into an immersive and interactive light installation.”

This is in addition to a high-quality listening experience. Do not worry if you have found yourself at a low-budget or badly run silent disco and have been frustrated with crackly headphones or dying headsets.

The sound quality is designed to ensure you feel like you’re in a nightclub with surround sound speakers, but you’re in control.

You can adjust the volume and, of course, change the channel, except unlike in a normal nightclub experience, there is no need to lose your voice shouting over the music; simply take off the headphones and chat normally!

Silent Disco Asia has worked with big brands like Disney, Google, and Veuve Clicquot. They are also one of the most popular big nights out in Singapore, hosting regular events at the iconic Marina Bay Sands.

The Silent Disco Asia events in Bali will be held at an equally esteemed and iconic venue. Woobar at W Hotel in Seminyak is a legendary beachfront bar that is as magical at night as it is in the daytime.

Hosting incredible events throughout the year, if you want to soak up the Woobar vibes, don’t wait for the silent disco! With events happening throughout August, there is always a party at Woobar.

After Light Happy Hour, hosted on Mondays from 7 pm – 9 pm, is the perfect way to start the week, and Social Wednesday is a genuinely great way to meet new people while on vacation; it’s proven to be a great option for longer staying Bali lovers to meet the Seminyak expat community in the wild.

For something even more vibe, be sure to swing by Woobar from 5 pm on a Friday for the weekly Friday in Action, which is the perfect punctuation mark between the working week and the weekend.

Tickets for the August, September, and October Silent Disco Asia at Woobar are already available online.
