A new AI-art installation will open at Bali’s Nuanu City. The creative landmark can be found in the heart of Bali’s new creative eco-city overlooking Nyanyi Beach in Tabanan City.

Nuanu City is the home of the newly opened Luna Beach Club and the annual Suara Festival.

The Tri Hita Karana Tower, designed by London-based artist and architect Arthur Mamou-Mani, has been completed. Named after the Balinese philosophy of harmony between people, nature, and the spiritual realms, the installation is the first permanent hybrid AI-Art installation in Bali.

In an interview with Wallpaper Magazine, Mamou-Mani shared the creative process involved in bringing the Tri Hita Karana Tower to life.

Set to be referred to as ‘the THK, ‘, the structure stands 30m high and is made of rattan and ironwood. Interactive in more ways than one, the tower can be scaled via 108 intentionally placed steps to the summit.

Boasting a 360-degree view over the southern coast of Bali and the stunning hills of Tabanan Regency, the tower is a play of play, creation, and reflection.

Mamou-Mani explained “THK is my first ever permanent installation in Asia. A key part of the process was understanding the life cycle of every strip of rattan and ulin, which is known as “ironwood” in English, that we reclaimed, as circularity was key to this project.”

He continued, “Although it is a permanent landmark here in Nuanu City, it has been designed so that it can be disassembled, moved, evolved, and broken down over time in a way that does not harm the environment but instead celebrates it.”

The feature exhibition at the Tri Hita Karana Tower, designed by Delivered. is an intricately implemented immersive experience for visitors.

Co-founder and CEO of Delivered, Anastasiia Filatova, shared, “There are over 1,000 light fixtures installed throughout the tower, with 18 projectors housed in 12 surrounding mini towers, alongside an in-built custom sound system and climate control box.”

She added, “This is brought to life in an 11-minute light and sound show, with the exhibition viewable from different points across Nuanu, [including] Luna Beach Club.”

Delivered is also the company behind the striking Earth Sentinels Media Sculpture at Nuanu City, which has been enjoyed by attendees of the Suara Festival.

Delivered describes the Earth Sentinals installation as “ancient ancestors, petrified in stone and reclaimed by the forest. They guard the pathway to Nuanu, reminding us daily of the sanctity of our natural world—our forests, mountains, and wild lands.”

“Conceptually, The Earth Sentinels showcase how sustainable, visually stunning attractions can shape Bali’s future and beyond. This collaboration sets a new standard for development, sustainability, art and technology.”

The official launch of the Tri Hatha Karana Tower will be held at 7.30 pm on 28th September. Registration is open, though entry is free.

Guests will have access to eight unique interaction installations at the Aurora Media Park home. Live DJs and music performances will set the ambiance for what is expected to be a magical and mind-blowing evening.

Nuanu City is a new city of the future that is being developed on 44 hectares of land on the Tabanan Coast.

The city is being designed and constructed as an embodied commitment to harmonious living and is masterminded by a community of creators, leaders, and change-makers who want to see a positive change in the world.

The creators of Nuanu City describe the development as “an integrated ecosystem; the city features dedicated spaces for education, art & culture, wellness, experience, and nature-inspired living, envisioning a future where these elements seamlessly intertwine.”

One of the best ways to discover Nuanu City, outside of events like the Tri Hatha Karana Tower launch and Suara Festival, is to visit Luna Beach Club.

Overlooking Pantai Nyanyi, the venue offers guests eight distinct areas that can be considered destinations in their own right.

The upcoming Lost in Paradise Festival at Luna Beach Club on 21st-22nd September is expected to be an extravaganza featuring international superstar DJs and local Bali legends on the decks.

Its not really "designed" by him if its AI-created. He's a glorified typer. And if they really wanted to show "harmony between man and nature" they would nix the city and instead create a nature preserve and reintroduce tigers to Bali. These phoney, yogi environmentalists are morons. They'll tout how great they are for being vegan, yet they'll still have five kids.

If “AI” stands for artificial intelligence the next step is “SI” = Super Intelligence which is already existing and can already develop such feelings like fearing to be shut off. - This could mean that humans in future will not more be the highest intelligence on our planet. - Anyway the full moon party is already on approach.

Bali gets more ridiculous by the day. An eco city on an island without a sewage treatment plant??? An island which for it's size has the highest plastic pollution on the planet? Bali is a disaster, and just when you think that it can't get worse.........
