Bali’s Canggu is welcoming the launch of a new luxury hotel in Batu Bolong.
Regent Bali Canggu is now open and is the first Regent Hotels & Resorts to open in Indonesia since IHG Hotels and Resorts acquired the brand back in 2018.
The much-anticipated opening of Regent Bali Canggu is welcome news to luxury-loving Bali tourists who want to indulge in exclusivity and serenity while having access to the vibrant and bustling resort of Canggu.
The brand-new 150-suite property is ultra-luxurious and offers guests five dining venues, nine swimming pools, and the brand’s flagship Regent Club.
Regent Bali Canggu is an all-suite and villa resort, meaning there is nothing but privacy and seclusion for guests from the moment they check-in. The suites and villas offer sea or garden views and many too offer direct access to the resort’s lagoon pool.
The General Manager of Regent Bali Canggu, Manish Puri, told the press, “What a great opportunity it is for us to reintroduce Regent to Indonesia! With a 50-year legacy of innovation, extraordinary views, landmark destinations, and exceptional service, the Regent brand has returned to reimagine luxury here in Canggu.”
The hotel offers guests the choice of five different dining establishments, and Sazón, headed up by award-winning Chef Andrew Walsh is bringing the tastes of Spain to the shores of Batu Bolong.
Walsh will also be coming to Cure, within the Regent Bali Canggu later in 2025. The restaurant will showcase a menu that scatters Asian influence over modern European dishes.
Chef Walsh explained “Sazón and Cure are very close to my heart and hospitality ambitions. Our Spanish neighborhood tapas bar and grill, Sazón, draws inspiration from the lively streets of Barcelona, reimagined with the vibrant spirit and boundless energy of Canggu.”
Regent Bali Canggu will also be coming to the first-ever Regent-branded spa. The spa center will open later in 2025 and is expected to be one of the most luxurious spas in all of Canggu. A sneak peek at the treatment menu reveals scrubs, massages, body wraps, and an exceptional range of skincare treatment therapies as well as wellness and relaxation packages.
The spa offers seven treatment rooms, meaning guests will always be able to secure their chosen timing for their treatment, as well as an intimate couples spa suite, a sauna, and a plunge pool.
Regent Bali Canggu’s villas and suites are extremely inviting. The hotel says of its Studio Suite “Positioned within lush tropical landscapes, the Studio Suite draws upon the artistry of contemporary Indonesian design, inviting you to a space of quiet indulgence where a private balcony reveals Bali’s natural textures.”
“A king bed, bespoke refreshment gallery which is yours to enjoy upon arrival, and curated pillow menu ensure serene comfort. The oasis bathroom, adorned with a hand-carved teak bathtub, double vanity, and rain shower, offers a personal haven to relax and reset.” Rooms at Regent Bali Canggu start at USD 760 per night.
Luxury hotels are in high demand in Bali right now, especially in Canggu. Back in December Canggu’s Berawa welcomed the opening of the new TUI Blue Berawa Hotel and Villas.
The hotel found its home within The Luc, the luxury lifestyle complex at the heart of Canggu’s Berawa.
The family-friendly hotel has quickly become part of the furniture in Canggu and offers guests a 5-star stay in one of 119 rooms or one of 14 luxury villas.
The hotel features a high-end fitness center, yoga studio, co-working space, restaurants, gourmet markets, and access to the boutique retail shops within The Luc Lifestyle Centre.
