The Head of the Bali Covid-19 Handling Task Force, Dewa Made Indra confirmed that the Bali provincial government has recently recorded a significant increase in the recovery rates of Covid-19 cases. “We’re so grateful that based on our data, 1,521 Covid-19 patients have recovered as of Friday (6/8). This is wonderful news to get several days before the level 4 partial lockdown is scheduled to end on the 9th of August 2021.” Indra said on Friday.

Many also believe that one of the major causes of this achievement was the Covid-19 vaccine that has been rapidly distributed to most of the population in Bali. However, Indra still reminds the community to keep complying with the prevention protocols as Covid-19 transmissions in Bali are still a threat. Indra explained that Bali has just confirmed another 1,239 new Covid-19 cases, which brought the total cases up to 83,988.

Meanwhile Indra ensures that the government has never stopped their efforts in handling the surge of Covid-19 transmissions on the island as they have been focusing on distributing the Covid-19 vaccine across the island. “3,086,828 people have received their first dose of the vaccine, and the other 1,052,418 have completed the vaccination program completely. We still have 1,098,636 doses of the vaccine that is expected to be distributed during the current level 4 partial lockdown in Bali.” Indra concluded.

It’s a great news, but starting to be worried about, C.37, Lambda COVID-19 mutation, first time discovered about a year ago in Peru. Seems to be more dangerous than Delta variation also for already vaccinated persons.
